Join our team and be a part of delivering mission-critical silicon and germanium lenses and windows to support the defense industry.

Machine Operator is a full-time position, on day shift in our manufacturing facility in Bozeman, MT. Responsibilities include the ability to operate high precision cutting equipment while applying machining knowledge, techniques, procedures, and shop mathematics to complete the task. This position requires the ability to comprehend related technical data, work from job travelers, and understand custom specifications. The successful candidate will have responsibility for setting up equipment to cut parts to specified dimensions, and demonstrate an understanding of the processes to meet specifications and maintain high standards.

Successful candidates will have the following skills:

  1. Mechanical aptitude

  2. Machine shop experience

  3. Basic math skills with an understanding of dimensions and tolerances

  4. Strong attention to detail

  5. Ability to lift over 50 lbs. on a regular basis

  6. Experience in lean manufacturing a plus

  7. Successfully pass pre-employment drug test and background check
