The world of semiconductor manufacturing constantly pushes the boundaries of what is possible. Ever-increasing demands for higher purity wafers and smaller feature size drive a need for engineered support components made from silicon or germanium.
Lattice’s 20 years of silicon and germanium machining experience puts us in a unique position to support these demanding specifications.
Lattice has both mono and polycrystalline material, and we can machine parts up to 15 inches diameter. We can also work with linear part lengths up to 18 inches or more, depending on the overall geometry.
We can make large diameter rings, complex comb shapes, or any other specialized geometry required in the wafer production process. We can provide a polished or etched finish for the most demanding clean room requirements.
Seeds for CZ Crystal Growth
Lattice can machine seeds for CZ crystal growth to your drawings, in either round, square or even tapered shapes, and etch them for stress relief. In fact, we machine the seeds for our own growth department, so we know how important it is to do it right. |
